Proceedings of inheritance in Poland – when?
Proceedings of inheritance in Poland – when?
Inheritance proceedings before the Polish court take place mainly when the heirs do not want to go to a notary to sign an inheritance deed, when one of the heirs deliberately does not want to start the inheritance proceedings or when the heirs simply decide to pursue the inheritance dispute before the Polish court.
An inheritance case does not have to be a long and complicated procedure. It very often ends with a single court date. In principle, it is the same as if the heirs had gone to a notary.
Nevertheless, it should be kept in mind that once the application for a declaration of inheritance has been filed, the court must set a hearing date and, once the order of inheritance has been issued, the matter must still become final.
